Flow, stage, and EC comparisons of DSM2 results -vs- field observations for locations within the Delta are shown on the following interactive validation map. The validation of the most current DSM2 calibration ran from 1990 to 1999. Locations are listed by the River Kilometer Index (RKI) names used by the IEP. DSM2 results are only shown for locations where observed data was available for comparison. The calibration and validation process was briefly described in Chapter
2 of the 2001 Methodology for Flow and Salinity Estimates in the
Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta and Suisun Marsh report to the State
Water Resources Control Board. More information on the IEP-PWT DSM2
